GRP workshops For the students by the students

Pilot at Pwani University, 2017

In September 2017, ssDNAfrica launched a pilot programme at Pwani University, Kenya. This programme had two main aims: to identify the underlying issues around pursuing a career in science and to offer a series of soft skills workshops culminating in a Students’ Symposium.
ssDNAfrica came back to Pwani University in 2018 to run the GRP workshops with a twist: peer-lead team learning. With this approach, the students drove their own learning while making it possible for more than 100 pupils to take part.
